Read and Recite My Poems

YAWN!  YAWN! YAWN!

Yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn
What did the witchdoctor say?

“Your mother swallowed a yawning fish
before she gave birth to you.
You will yawn till you’re seventeen.”

Yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn
What did the doctor say?

“Early to bed and early to rise
Makes a yawning child tight-lipped.”

Yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn
What did the teacher say?

“Some mouths can house ten tongues
Others can hardly take in a sip!’

Yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn
What did the stranger say”?

“This child last ate a full meal
Three nights ago.”
