THE DEAD AND THE LIVING 

There was a woman who wanted to know
Whether the living could outnumber the dead;
She armed herself with a big circulator
And released a staggering line of figures

Finally, when she died,
She left a note that said:
“Gone down to count the dead
I’ll be back shortly!”
