TERROR IN NEW YORK
I saw the planes turn around
yet, I did not believe…
I saw them approach the World Trade Center
yet, I did not believe…
I saw them smash in
yet, I did not believe…
I saw the building tumble down
yet, I did not believe…
Not till 10,000 body bags were ordered
Did the painful reality sink in –
I had not watched a 20th Century Fox movie
I had watched the 21st century terrorism.
